Come climb with us at one of the most iconic multipitch areas in Chile, Torrecillas.

Just 36 km from Santiago, Torrecillas stands out for its incredible wall on Las Bandurrias hill, with routes up to 260 meters long and panoramic views of the Sierra de Ramón and the surrounding sclerophyll forest. 

The climbing here is all about friction slabs, tiny crimps, overhangs with pockets, tunnels, chimneys and cracks. The rock is volcanic tuff, known for its grippy, compact and solid texture.

The area has more than 100 multipitch routes, mostly sport, along with several trad lines.

Getting to the base of the wall takes a 5 km approach hike.

Requirements

• Health, physical and mental state compatible with the activity.
• Ability to climb 5.10a or 6a.

What you need to bring?

• Comfortable clothing, appropriate for the activity and weather conditions of the day
• Personal climbing gear (harness, climbing shoes, chalk bag, helmet)
• Backpack of 20-30 liters
• Food for the day
• At least 2 liters of water
• Trekking or approach shoes
