You will learn the fundamentals of rock climbing in a safe, fun, and personalized setting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Objective<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The goal is for students to have a first rock climbing experience, learning about technical equipment and the most commonly used belay systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Course Content<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Safety and risk management at a climbing area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction to equipment used in sport climbing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Top-rope climbing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knots.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Belay techniques with ATC and GriGri.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Climbing technique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reading climbing sector topos.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>How to keep progressing in climbing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Recommendations<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Appropriate clothing for the weather.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High-ankle trekking shoes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sun hat.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sunglasses and sunscreen.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Trail food or light snacks for<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>eating during class.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quick lunch and snacks for<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>breaks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 2 liters of water.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To book the workshop, a 50% deposit is required. The remaining 50%<br>must be paid the day before the workshop, no later than<br>the day before the scheduled date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>If you have already paid and decide not to take the workshop, you must request the<br>50% deposit refund at least 48 hours before the scheduled date.<br>Otherwise, the 50% will not be refunded.
